Description

The Contra Anniversary Collection brings this Run and Gun series back to modern devices and a new group of players.

Collect power ups. Shoot your way through many dangerous enemies and big bosses that will challenge your quick thinking and fast reactions. Also part of the package is a Bonus Book filled with lots of idea papers and drawings the official history of the series.

For people who want to know when the Contra Anniversary Collection was released what games are, in it what the PC needs are, if there is a way to play with others or if it is still fun to play this guide has all the important information.

Story and Premise

There is no fully unified story campaign that ties all ten games together because this collection gathers titles from many different eras and versions of the franchise. The classic Contra games mostly focus on military‑style heroes battling forces, alien threats or other dangerous enemies. The emphasis however is more on arcade action than, on long detailed storytelling.

If you are primarily looking for a shooter the Contra Anniversary Collection probably is not the ideal choice. If you want arcade shooting and historical Contra games the Contra Anniversary Collection is much more relevant.
