You can play brain teasers or take on harder challenges that really make you think. The game has a story set in Think Town, where players help the residents.

The Pokémon Company says this game works well for both kids and adults. The puzzles are meant to help people think critically but’re also easy to enjoy and calm. Wonderfy, a company for educational puzzle games built the puzzle system, behind Pokémon Friends.

Story and Think Town

Pokémon Friends does not follow the Pokémon adventure story with gyms, badges or big villains. It also doesn’t have a quest centered around legendary Pokémon. Instead the game is set in Think Town, a place where people really like Pokémon toys.

The residents of the town ask the player for help, with tasks. The main goal is to solve puzzles make toys and give the right Pokémon to the people who want them. When players complete these requests their friendship levels go up. As friendship grows new decorative rewards become available.
