Description
Everwarder is an interesting single-player strategy game that changes the way tower defense games are played by using roguelike features and worlds that are made up on the spot. People play as a protector responsible for keeping a crystal safe, which holds a friend while also fighting against groups of stronger and stronger enemies.
The Everwarder has colorful graphics that look like they come from a neon light show, a guide, for people who are just starting out and different kinds of challenges to make sure players stay interested. Every time someone plays Everwarder they get an experience because they can gather items find new skills and improve their defenses in a place that keeps changing.
Story and Premise
The story setup is deliberately simple. It gives a solid reason for the defensive gameplay so the defensive gameplay feels justified.
You are in a generated world that is consumed by darkness. Within this world lies a crystal that holds your friend. The darkness can spawn creatures that try to destroy that crystal.
Because the game focuses heavily on repeated runs and strategic progression gameplay systems become more important, than a linear narrative.
