Description

G-Darius HD is a take on Taito’s 1997 arcade shooter, G-Darius. It brings the horizontal scrolling action into high definition. The game includes versions of the original gameplay, training modes, special gadgets and various quality-of-life improvements. One of its standout features is the Capture Ball mechanic.

You play G-DARIUS HD as the Silver Hawk, a fighter built for war against the Thiima Empire. The story G-DARIUS HD takes place in the world of Amnelia Kingdom, where a war, between the kingdom and the Thiima Empire unfolds. This conflict happens before the events seen in Darius and Belsar games.

Story and Premise

G-Darius is set in a science‑fiction war between the Amnelia Kingdom and the Thiima Empire.During this war the Silver Hawk fighters were. They quickly become the heart of the fighting. Their special capture technology links directly, to the gameplay mechanic of the game.The story mainly exists to build the world and mood of G‑Darius. G‑Darius is still basically an arcade shoot‑em‑up.
