Welcome to Elderfield is a player cozy horror RPG that blends farming, life simulation, exploration, relationships, crafting, mystery solving and turn-based combat with Lovecraftian horror. The game is developed by Chris Cote. Published by Kwalee. It is set to launch on September 10 2026.

The basic idea may seem familiar: you start by setting up a home tending to the land gathering materials meeting townspeople preparing meals exploring the world around you and slowly making your character stronger and your farm better.. There’s something dark beneath the surface.

Story and Premise

Welcome to Elderfield is an strange town where weird things happen every day. The main character has finished their studies. Comes back to a life that feels like it has no clear path. Of going away from the town they start to look around work, grow food make new friends solve puzzles and find out what makes Elderfield so different.

The Welcome to Elderfield idea mixes things with scary ideas, on purpose.You could spend the afternoon taking care of plants then look into a problem that has to do with things that’re not normal the same day.
