You play DRAGON QUEST XI S: Echoes of an Elusive Age – Definitive Edition as a hero called the Luminary. The Luminary is a person linked to the destiny of the world called Erdrea. When the story puts the Luminary in danger the Luminary sets out on a quest that slowly gathers a team of companions.

Story and Premise

The story DRAGON QUEST XI S: Echoes of an Elusive Age – Definitive Edition follows the Luminary, a hero whose destiny is tied to the survival of Erdrea. After a series of events that establish the Luminary’s importance the Luminary becomes caught in a much larger conflict that involves the world’s history, powerful enemies, ancient mysteries. Of immediately giving the player every answer the game slowly introduces its world and characters through exploration and story chapters.
