Description SpeedRunners 2: King of Speed
SpeedRunners 2: King of Speed is a paced competitive platformer. It is the sequel to the SpeedRunners. In this game players do not drive vehicles around tracks. Instead they control superhero-style runners. These runners move through side-scrolling tracks. The tracks are full of platforms, hazards, boost pads, grappling points, obstacles and pick-ups.
The SpeedRunners 2: King of Speed is not, like a racing game. It focuses on managing your character through side-scrolling obstacle courses. The goal is to stay of a fire wall that moves forward. This fire wall pushes the player to keep moving. The sequel keeps the movement-focused gameplay as the first game. It also brings higher-definition visuals. The netcode has been improved.
Characters and Runners
Players can pick characters from a group of superhero runners. The roster has both characters and fresh faces.
Developers have stated that most of the main roster is expected to return. However the full launch roster might change based on announcements and updates.Of treating characters like classic RPG classes with varied skill trees characters keep their focus on movement, route knowledge and competitive execution.
