Story and Premise

The Cotton Boomerang Saturn Tribute is set in the Pumpkin Kingdom, where the national treasure called the Bluewater Willow has vanished.

Cotton, a witch and Appli, a member of the royal family are central figures, in the Cotton series. I see that the Saturn Tribute description presents the game as a fantasy action shooter focused on Cotton and Applis adventure.

Compared with Cotton 2 I notice that Cotton Boomerang places more emphasis on arcade‑style action instead of a traditional narrative progression. I also see that the original game is essentially a gameplay‑focused reworking of the title.
