Description

Scavland is a post‑apocalyptic survival RPG. Scavland is a single‑player, top‑down pixel‑art game that takes place in a world inspired by the Soviet Union ruined by war and a thing called the Mist. The game mixes scavenging, tactical fighting, exploring, quests, reputation with groups customizing weapons making items and basic survival rules.

You play as a Vulture, which’s basically a scavenger who must live by using whatever is left from the old world. Than following a straight line of missions the game is, about planning trips going into dangerous places doing work gathering supplies upgrading gear and slowly moving farther into the wasteland.

Scavland Story and Setting

The story takes place in Zalesye, a land that has been devastated by war and by the Mist.You play as a Vulture who has survived a life‑end event at the hands of soldiers that are said to come from a distant land where the Mist does not touch. The Vulture has survived this call.

Rumors say that to the east beyond the RO‑29 Highway there is an area where the Mist does not exist. Rumors say this area is free of Mist.Your journey has two goals. First survive the wasteland. Second discover the truth behind the Mist and the Vulture’s own survival.The setting combines survival, with visual and thematic elements inspired by the Soviet era and the Cold War.
