Description

Where the Water Tastes Like Wine is a narrative‑driven adventure game. It is about traveling across the United States during the Great Depression. You share those stories to uncover human experiences. You do not focus on combat or traditional action gameplay.

The Where the Water Tastes Like Wine uses a combination of a 3D overworld map and hand‑drawn 2D illustrations. Of fighting enemies or completing conventional combat missions. You travel between locations. You use what You learn to develop relationships, with the people You meet.

Story and Premise

The story Where the Water Tastes Like Wine starts with a figure who has the head of a wolf. This figure beats the character in a game of poker. As a result of this loss the main character is cursed. The curse forces the character to journey across the country. The main character must gather stories. Tell them to other people.

These characters are part of the task given by the figure. Each character comes from a background. Each character faces struggles. All of these characters are set in America during the time of the Great Depression.
