Description

COTTOn 2 Saturn Tribute is a horizontal shoot‑em‑up that follows the style of Cotton 2: Magical Night Dreams, the 1997 arcade and Sega Saturn title. It keeps the witch‑themed shooter from the Cotton 2 Saturn Tribute game and adds new modern features such, as rewind, slow motion, quick save/load and online rankings.

Cotton 2: Magical Night Dreams, released in 1997 is known for mixing shoot‑em‑up action with a unique command‑based attack system.

Story and Setting

The story Cotton 2 Saturn Tribute happens in the Pumpkin Kingdom, a place that has lost its prized treasure—the Water Willow, also known as the Bluewater Willow.

Cotton, a witch who’s always hungry joins the adventure. She teams up with Appli, an adventurous member of the royal family. The original game first introduced Appli and her talking hat, Needle, who plays a role in the tale.

The mood is meant to be fun and light-hearted not serious all. It’s a fantasy world filled with witches, magic, strange monsters and bright paced arcade action. All of it keeps the series signature humor and silly personality.
