Dungeon Antiqua is a new entry in the world of 8-bit pixel art RPGs. It takes ideas from games from the 1980s and 1990s like Wizardry and Final Fantasy. Players get to explore made dungeons grow their characters and face many different challenges that mix old-time feelings with new ideas.

The main influences are RPGs, from the 1980s and 1990s especially Wizardry and Final Fantasy. The look uses pixel art and music that sounds like computer games. The controls have been made simpler so the old-style gameplay’s easier to enjoy now.

Story and Premise

The Dungeon Antiqua puts you in the role of a group of adventurers exploring dungeons to find treasure and get better. The main focus is on what happens while you’re on your journey than on long stories told through movies.

That’s on purpose. The official description clearly says the game is about fighting enemies and exploring without scenes or too much guidance.People who want a story-driven RPG, with lots of talking might think it’s too simple. People who like games where the action comes first and you explore places will probably like this way of doing things.
