Description
Resident Evil 2 Deluxe Edition is the expanded version of Capcom’s 2019 survival-horror remake of the Resident Evil 2. This version includes the game along with the Extra DLC Pack. The DLC Pack adds character costumes, including the Elza Walker costume, a Samurai Edge weapon and an option to play the version soundtrack.
Of just upscaling the original game Capcom rebuilt Resident Evil 2 from the ground up. The remake runs on the RE Engine, featuring character models modern controls, an, over-the-shoulder camera and redesigned environments. These changes give the game a more immersive presentation.
Story and Setting
The story Resident Evil 2 Deluxe Edition happens during the Raccoon City outbreak. A deadly biological disaster has changed most of the people into zombies making the city a mess. Leon and Claire come in different ways and get stuck in the disaster.
Their trip takes them to places linked to the outbreak as they try to stay alive and find out what went wrong. The story also brings in Resident Evil characters and groups while adding more to the events of the first game.
