Description
Aggelos 2 is a 2D Metroidvania game that is available on Windows. It offers a mix of old memories and new ideas. Players go on an adventure that has a lot of exploring and fighting. The Aggelos 2 takes place in a world that looks very nice and has the feel of 16-bit graphics.
Players take control of an Aggelos, which’s the highest level of angels. This Aggelos is sent by Balro into the Kingdom of Lumen. The kingdom is being attacked by the Army of Darkness. At the time the Gods of Light are losing the battle.
Story and Premise
The story Aggelos 2 is set in the Kingdom of Lumen a land ruled by the God of Light. Now the Gods of Light are losing their war against the Army of Darkness. The player steps into the role of an Aggelos—chosen by Balro and sent into Lumen just as the kingdom falls.
What makes this mission different is that the hero cannot depend on angelic power. To stay alive in the clash of worlds the protagonist must embrace a Demon form. This shift becomes the heart of the story—the core idea that order fights chaos, light battles darkness and angel meets demon. It’s not about power. It’s about what you become when survival demands.
