Description

Arcade Archives: P-47 is a modernGame. The game places players, behind the controls of a Thunderbolt fighter and leads players through intense World War II-inspired battlefields packed with aircraft, tanks, ships and other enemies.

The game is a scrolling shoot-’em-up. That means the screen keeps moving while the players aircraft battles enemies coming from the air and ground. Unlike fantasy-themed arcade shooters P-47 uses a military aviation setting inspired by World War II.

Gameplay and Core Mechanics

Arcade Archives: P-47 follows an arcade shooter formula. You fly forward stop enemies collect power ups avoid projectiles and survive stages that get harder and harder.

The aircraft can attack enemies coming from directions. Ground targets, like tanks and defensive installations add another layer of danger.The official description highlights enemies attacking from land, sea and air. It also mentions battlefield environments and enormous battleships.
